The 86th Maintenance Group conducted a Motorcycle Safety Day. The event started with a briefing recognizing motorcycle safety riding tips, inspection and protective equipment requirements.

After the briefing, the group inspected their motorcycles using the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's inspection checklist. The event ended with a mentor ride, lead by Maj. Louis Marnell, 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron commander.

The safety day gave the riders a chance to learn from other more knowledgeable riders and share their past experiences. The 86th MXG hopes to hold a Motorcycle Safety Day every month to foster safe motorcycle habits and increase camaraderie amongst the participants.
