Ramstein Airman Dies Published Feb. 14, 2013 86 Airlift Wing Public Affairs RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- An Airman whose body was found in his on-base temporary lodging quarters Feb. 7 has been identified as Technical Sergeant Thomas E. Clifford. The 41-year-old Airman from Montgomery, Ala., was assigned to the 86th Airlift Wing Command Post. "It is always a tragedy when we lose a member from Team Ramstein. We come together during this time of loss to support each other and our prayers are with TSgt Clifford's family and friends," said Brig. Gen. Charles K. Hyde, 86th Airlift Wing commander. The cause of death is still under investigation.
