RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany – The 86th Airlift Wing participated in the first 5K Runway Series of the year at Ramstein Air Base, May 24, 2021.
Approximately 250 active duty personnel participated in the run, building combat readiness and resilience. The 5K Runway Series will be a monthly occurrence open to all active duty military members to help maintain physical readiness.
“The Runway Series is trying to help people get back into demonstrating that fitness is a part of their life,” said 86 AW Command Chief Master Sergeant Hope Skibitsky. “Fitness is a condition of employment, and what better way to demonstrate it than to get people active and exploring our own runways as a team.”
