COLONEL ANGELA M. POLSINELLI Col. Angela M. Polsinelli is Commander, 521st Air Mobility Operations Wing at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The wing provides en route aircraft maintenance, command and control, air transportation services, expeditionary aircrew support, and aeromedical evacuation for theater and strategic U.S. Transportation Command taskings. As the commander, Col. Polsinelli is responsible for nearly 2,000 deployed and permanent party Total Force Mobility Airmen organized in two groups with 16 operating locations spanning 5,000 miles across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Col. Polsinelli graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2001, earning a commission through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. She has flown combat missions in Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM and served in Africa as an exchange pilot with the French Air Force. Col. Polsinelli has performed Foreign Area Officer and Advanced Air Advisor duties on staff for both Joint Chiefs of Staff and Headquarters Air Force. Prior to this assignment, she was the Commander for the 621st Air Mobility Advisory Group at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. Col. Polsinelli is a command pilot with over 3,900 hours in the C-130, C-12, and C-208 aircraft.
