graphicThe 521st AMOW stands ready to project power across Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East amidst complex and uniquely challenging conditions. The en route enterprise puts the “Rapid” in Rapid Global Mobility and strives to meet strategic national objectives across the continuum of conflict. Flexibility provided by the en route system allows operations to cross traditional boundaries of Combatant Commands. The 521st AMOW will remain postured with the ability to generate agile, flexible force capabilities to meet U.S. Transportation Command and Combatant Command requirements in support of Rapid Global Mobility operations.

521st AMOW Airmen are at the heart of all of our missions. To ensure we promote a culture that supports them we have implemented the C.A.R.E. for our Airmen program. C.A.R.E. stands for culture, accountability, resilience, and empowerment. These are the foundational principles to our success. We aim to cultivate our Airmen’s talent and innovation by giving them the freedom and authority to get things done. Aligned with AMC’s Develop the Force priority, we will provide unmatched C.A.R.E. for our Airmen and families!

Tomorrow’s 521st AMOW starts today! We must remain ready to project full spectrum readiness and operate mobility operations in contested and degraded environments. To that end we will develop Agile Combat Employment (ACE) concepts with en route Multi-Capable Airman (MCA). The ACE-MCA is capable of shifting operations where needed in order to provide Rapid Global Mobility. Shaping Tomorrow’s en route requires cutting edge capabilities and strategies as well as innovative Airmen ready to meet any contingency.

With operations at over 20 unique locations, our wing relies on strong partnerships to execute our mission, care for our Airman and their families and prepare for the future. We strive to enhance and bolster those relationships while looking for opportunities to build new lasting ones. To reach those partners, we engage in community outreach, social media presence and key stakeholder engagements. We must tell the en route story and educate our partners on what we bring to the fight, how we do it and why our work is important to Rapid Global Mobility.
