Ramstein celebrates National Police Week 2023

U.S. Air Force Semaje Keys, 24th Intelligence Squadron fusion analyst, sings the German and U.S. national anthems during Police Week’s final guardmount at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, May 19, 2023. In 1963, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week. The observance was established to recognize local, state and federal law enforcement officers who have given the ultimate sacrifice or have become disabled in the line of duty.
