Silver Flag builds runways, multi-capable Airmen

U.S. Air Force Airmen with the 435th Construction and Training Squadron aid each other in with donning mission oriented protective posture gear at Ramstein Air Base, Germany during a Silver Flag training course, Nov. 17, 2021. Silver Flag teaches members from civil engineer, force support and vehicle maintenance career fields to learn skills necessary to complete large-scale base recovery and rapid air field damage recovery operations, which may be outside their primary duties. The Airmen learn skills such as building a bare base, responding to base attacks and operating a mortuary throughout the course.
