The 86th Force Support Squadron’s Northside Fitness Center at Ramstein Air Base is undergoing several major renovations over the next few months.

Current renovation work includes revamping both restrooms in the lobby, and creating more space in the free weight room. Two men’s locker rooms are scheduled to undergo renovations in the spring time.

“The wall which divided the weight room has been removed,” said Dwayne Robinson, the facility’s fitness and sports manager. “The project on the small locker room is scheduled for February, and the larger locker room is slated for April.”

“We are revamping some of our facility’s features to improve the quality of life for our patrons,” he added.

Other things to expect in the coming year are additional equipment, particularly a large monkey bar system which patrons can use to work out their upper body.

As 2017 is in full swing, both fitness enthusiasts and New Year’s resolutionists can enjoy an enhanced experience at the Northside Fitness Center.
