Year of the Air Force Family
The Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Air Force designated July 2009 through July 2010 as Year of the Air Force Family to help focus and highlight on the already successful programs in place and to inform Airmen and their families of new programs developed throughout the year. As part of the year, Nov. 1 through 9 is also recognized as “Air Force Family Week” to celebrate families of Airmen. For information regarding events held on Ramstein Air Base in support of Year of the Air Force Family, contact the Airman and Family Readiness Center.
