Happy Friday, Team Ramstein! I'm sorry I haven't given you any updates lately, but out-processing for retirement has kept me really busy.

Luckily, I haven't just been chasing my tail (or nub in my case).

The Ramstein Airman & Family Readiness Center has helped me get prepared for civilian life a lot. The Transition Goals, Plans, Success program is a life-cycle model to help service members make the transition from active duty a well-planned, organized and thoughtful progression.

The program has helped me with my résumé, shown me how to translate my military work into civilian experience and so much more.

Of course, my goal is to laze around, eat treats and gnaw on my severance bones, but my mom and dad are telling me I unfortunately have to get a job.

Apparently, cheese doesn't grow on trees. It magically appears from the cold, square box in the place they make food, so I don't know what they're talking about.

I'm still on the fence about my retirement ceremony, after all, I've put in a solid 20 dog years (or so, I have no concept of time). So, if I don't get a chance to give you a bark out again, thanks for all the loving pets!
