Just visiting some old friends
Retired Chief Master Sgt. John Wright describes the extensive repairs he made to C-130 tail number 0527, nearly three decades ago, to Senior Airmen Timothy Mills and Jake Williams, Oct. 27 2008 on the Ramstein Air Base flight line. Chief Wright spent nearly nine months working on the aircraft after it left the runway in a landing mishap in 1980. The aircraft, now maintained by Airmen Mills and Williams, is still active today thanks to those repairs. This is the chief's first visit to Germany since he retired from active duty in 1991.
