Then and Now

Robert Russo poses for an identical photo in front of the 86th Airlift Wing headquarters building during a base tour Sept. 19, 2012, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Russo was stationed at Ramstein as an airman 1st class during his enlistment from 1951 to 1955 as a special orders clerk for the maintenance squadron. "I will always be proud to have served ... and especially to have been a member of the 86th," said Russo.
