RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- The 86th Airlift Wing Equal Opportunity team invites members of the Kaiserslautern Military Community to celebrate Diversity Day on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

An event is scheduled to take place at the Ramstein Base Exchange.

Tech. Sgt. Steven James, 86th AW EO specialist, said the purpose of Diversity Day is to recognize the Department of Defense’s special observances and heritage celebrations.

“It is a way for the 86th AW to bring the many diverse cultures that make up Ramstein together and allow people to gather, and learn about other cultures while maybe learning more about their own,” James said. “This year’s theme is ‘Share our Similarities, Celebrate our Differences.’”
