Spouse Orientation

The Ramstein Airman & Family Readiness Center hosts a spouse orientation every Monday for all newly arrived Kaiserslautern Military Community spouses.

The expanded orientation now includes a medical right start piece in addition to helpful information on German culture and customs, recycling, shopping tips, how to save on the economy and more.

Other topics include house hunting, comparing phone and internet contracts, traveling and driving in Germany.

You will want to attend as soon as possible to get all these great tips to ease your transition and help you become familiar with the local area. The orientation is taught by a local national and should be your first stop to find out what other great opportunities and classes there are for spouses.

The class is held at the A&FRC, Bldg. 2120, on Ramstein Air Base Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

To sign up, call the Airman & Family Readiness Center at DSN: 480-5100 or Commercial: 06371-47-5100.

During the lunch break from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; we invite spouses to network with other spouses who have been in Germany for a while to get extra tips and vital information.

If you have been in the KMC for more than six months and would like to join the group for a "no host" lunch at Chili's, please call the A&FRC to be added to the group.
