German community vows to remember
A stone memorial stands in Synagogue Square, Kaiserslautern, Germany, Jan. 20, 2020. The memorial is used to remember the 192 Holocaust victims of Kaiserslautern. While Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism is held annually on Jan. 27, service members and their families can recognize victims of the Holocaust by learning about the Kaiserslautern memorials and local history throughout the year.
